Overview

Center, CO adopts the following codes:

• The International Building Code, 2006 edition, including appendix chapter J. Center, CO Muni. Code § 10-67 (adopted) with amendments at § 10-68.
• The International Residential Code, 2006 edition, including appendix chapter E. Center, CO Muni. Code § 10-95 (adopted) with amendments at § 10-96.

Residential Building Code

Existing buildings, meaning buildings that were built in accordance to code at the time of construction, typically merit extra consideration in a current updated code.

There is no mention of the adoption of Appendix J in the supplement to the 2006 IRC.
